FL Studio Plugin Management: Will I have to reauthorize plugins when I update from FL 12 to FL 20?

    Previously, when upgrading from FL 11 to FL 12, some of my plugins had to be re authorized to be used in FL 12. I am just wondering if you guys think I will have to go through that again with the update to FL 20? I'm about to try a bunch of new plugins out, but don't wanna waste the time authorizing everything now if I'm gonna have to just re authorize everything later this year, when FL 20 drops.

    i' ve never had issues with needing to re-authorize plugins, normally you shouldnt need to re-authorize

    who said anything about dongles????

    They're pulling a Microsoft and skipping 13 and going straight to 20. Then I think in 10 more years it'll be FL 30. Or something, idk, it's all a mess.

    That's good to hear, not sure why I had to last time.

    When you upgrade to a newer version of Fl, there´s an option in the install menu to keep previous settings, make sure to tick that box an d you should be all good to go. On e few occasions though i had to re/authorize some plugs. But never all of them.
