Hey!

I created and present 'The Midnight Hour' on CrowZone Radio. The music played on my show ranges from glitch hop to symphonic metal, dubstep and classic rock. Through AS I've had the pleasure of interacting with various artists and bands who I've featured on my show, and I'm keen to promote new music, artists and bands. I've also interviewed several bands for my show from both the UK and overseas.

In private I'm a bit of a metal-head with eclectic musical tastes and I love to explore industrial/metal/steampunk and electronic music for my own pleasure.

In short, if you create music in the following genre's I'd love to hear from you!

Dubstep

Hardstyle
Any Rock
Any Metal
Any Dance

I had the pleasure of listening to your show some times and have to say, it's worthwhile! and

 

My last show for anyone who hasn't heard it before;

 

Is anyone else having a problem with Mixcloud and listening to music on there? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

 

I'm hearing it... you have a sort of subdued "riff raff" delivery in a "Rocky" kinda way...

so @tulamide did the intro...? what happened to him lately......

good sound quality..and I like the bluesy opener.... this could be an addicting stream...

We're enjoying listening to your show here, my wife and me. It's an interesting mix of everything and generally to our taste, which is heavy-hard-core-goth-industrial and all other ear pleasing noise. For as long as it sounds heavy whatever, it's fine with us.

No Justin Beaver and Taylor Sniffed, though? Such a shame...

A little tip on the microphone for your intimate voice: try Shure SM57 with a pop filter. <-- cheap solution. EV RE-20 would be a more expensive solution. Your voice needs more mids to sound more "BBC like". It's too clean and "Hi-Fi" as it is, so sometimes it's a bit hard to understand what you're saying.

That's wonderful feedback on Midnight's mic quality. Hugely appreciated. I get to hear it before the stream is mangled down to MP3 128k. So, it's very kind of you to point out how it sounds at your end.

You're right about the clinical sound of Midnight's mic. It's a Zoom H4N Pro stereo pair, from which I derive mono. I agree an SM57 would be kinder on the ear in the mids. Will give a try.
