I get your point regarding posting here.

 

Hardcore genres and many more are not real musicians' choices. Yes I know they can play some instruments like guitars but it's not enough. For musicianship, a musical attitude is needed. Hardcore is the invention of sound designing approach or musically illiterate persons that notes' interactions with each other are not important at all.

Piano roll in them is being used just as a sound trigger and the final result is usually dissonant sounds (totally unaware of traditional terms like tonality, etc) causing black depression. I'm sure no one even their listeners would be able to memorize such music or even refer to them in the future.

Yes @MMJ2017 mentioned so neatly that they're mostly applicable to action scenes but how much of human's life is being spent in action (unstable situations)? I don't know what's the problem with hardcore producers but such music don't show a big picture of mental health.

Welcome! As a metal guy (mostly black metal) doing electronic music myself, I can relate! I'm not really sure what genre the resulting music is. But it sure is fun to make!!

 

Maybe he/she can play with their listeners' souls even by a simple snippet in a memorable manner. Unfortunately hardcore doesn't have this potential:


Also in my definition "DARK" is different from "HARDCORE".
