I find this useful and thought I should share it here, in case someone have missed this out (i did, lol), might find this useful when multi-tasking, etc.

The result will be look like this:

(Sadly, un-docking Reaper items/panels doesn't go well with this. Not sure with other DAW).


How to do it? simply..

1:
Click on the window you want to move.

2:
Moving to Top Left: Hold Windows Keys (⊞) + Left Arrow (←)+ Up Arrow (↑)
Moving to Top Right: Hold Windows Keys (⊞) + Right Arrow (→) + Up Arrow (↑)
Moving to Bottom Left: Hold Windows Keys (⊞) + Left Arrow (←) + Down Arrow (↓)
Moving to Bottom Right: Hold Windows Keys (⊞) + Right Arrow (→) + Down Arrow (↓)

3:
Done.

You mean like the window function "Show windows stacked" when you right click on the tool bar?
If yes, I do it in one click LOL

 

In the windows stacked model is the browser 1 window or is each browser tab a window? And for that matter can we 'stack' browser tabs? I'd love that.

With this function every thing open is considered as a window, so browser with multiple tab will be one window. If you want each tab as a window you have to open each one apart.

 

@Futurewine the key commands do not work for me, but they do other things like making the window big or let it disappear.

But @Olymoon s method works for me.

Will recommend both

Thx @Futurewine. I had deactivated multitasking/docking in the preferences. Maybe it annoyed me at one point, but I just learned that sometimes this can be really helpful for me too.

Works fine now.
