I'm with you in this case. When I learned english in school, I used to repeat difficult words in my native language to memorize them better.
For me it was always receipe ....and it will be, because I feel sometimes nostalgic.

 

We are all products of our our imaginations, which as it turns out are very easy to manipulate.

Most likely a confusion between these two..

 

Maybe it's the mind filtering out the more/less important things that comes with age? Could be affecting spelling, too.

Like, we remember how to properly spell "fuck", "wanker", "bugger off", "shite", "piss off" and all those other nice and very important words that we use daily, but we forget how to spell the less important/more rarely used words like that?

Just an alternative theory...

 

I've spelled it receipe in school years ago an got it correct on a test (but that teacher was a little nutty)lol . Then recently noticed the word looked slightly shorter so I asked around an got both spellings so maybe it is a mandela, parallel universe, a glitch in the Matrix or just the folks messing with CERN

I still remember my secondary school Philosophy teacher coming into the classroom for the first time, putting a chair on top of a table and saying "what is it?"... and it's a long story... for him. For us it was just a chair on top of a table. But I get it now...

 

there is also the sacred number 0 ...put it next to any other number in a positive way and it gives them energy & strength...

1.....with the 0 is 10 ... 2 with the 0 is 20 1 with 3 0's is 1000...u get the idea

I really like that Einstein's "everything's relative", because it is. Well, generally. There's always that "not really 100%" factor. Like is the grass really only green? On Earth, yes. But on some other planet? It could be red due to entirely different eco-system. I can't help liking the implications of philosophy on people's thoughts. Nothing is 100% according to philosophy, but there is also so incredibly remarkable stuff. It can also drive you crazy...
