Hey, I'm a bit if a noob when it comes to software stuff and after searching for hours I'm still unsure ao figured I'd ask.

Is there anyway to have a version of kontakt 5 via native access to run a komplete download but use an older unlocked version of kontakt to run my current libraries?

I have too many projects to dare this if it isn't a smooth operation.
Naive instruments usually has a default install path that I'm not so sure can be altered so wouldn't one version erase the orher?

    Thanks

Hi. I too am curious in the answer to this question/solution to this situation. Did you ever figure out how to do this?

In my experience, when you install a cracked Kontakt while having a legit Kontakt installed, it will work, but all the libraries that you activate with a keygen will appear as "demo" in your legit Kontakt and you be able to use them only with the cracked Kontakt, obviously. However, some VST hosts cannot distinguish between two Kontakts being installed and there lies a catch. It's possible to have multiple Kontakts installed in Reaper, AFAIK, but not Cubase. Or maybe I just haven't found a way to have multiple Kontakts in Cubase. Yet.

Also, whenever you upgrade your legit Kontakt [or even touch "Native Access", I think] you will have to re-activate those cracked libraries, so keep the keygen at hand.

I see Kontakt as one of those 'hit or miss' programmes! In that you never know what you're going to get after installation!
Komplete and indeed Kontakt (when I installed them) put different files in the same place, and the same files in different places, thus leaving me with two different working versions, but unable to differentiate if and when I wanted to uninstall.
I have Shadow Defender,(www.shadowdefender.com) so when it comes to uninstallation, I can have as many goes at getting it right as i want without making any change permanent. I still haven't been able to get it right, so if I was to advise you, I'd say if you have it working (even though it might not be EVERYTHING working) leave well alone, because there is way too much that can go wrong!
