Here's a very old, amateur...and quickly abandoned attempt at making a Drill beat (a Trap sub-genre):

I invented a simple filter to not even listen to demos or download releases : just trash everything with words like "house", "dubstep", "future" something , "trap"...
At the end, you are left with VERY few products releases. Best release filter ever :bleh:

When someone find a recipe, all those internet rats are coming to imitate it. Even a subtle effect or cadence change.
Before internet days, it took months to get clones. Now, it is only days.

Hip hop, like all "cow milk" music, is a magnet for ppl making money. From "artists" (lol...) to specialized medias.
In some years, it would take only some seconds to get a thousand "auto produced" clones all over the net...

It is called "market saturation" and "profit margin reduction" : too much useless music with less and less quality, saturating market.
    And lowering prices.
So at the end, it is only about packaging : strings and brands all over the place.

Hip hop died when most poor hip hop ppl decided to get rich, instead of being free.

When there are more sheep than shepherd ... you know how it ends.

One of my (few) good hip hop references :
