    Share your favorite books music related or not !

    I will do the start,
    for people interested in film scoring a useful read is the book "from score to screen" by Sonny Kompanek.
    an interesting book for electronic musicians,ableton users or not is :

    That book has just one sentence in it and it's "At the end, just your acquired techniques by your own hands will be remained in your mind and others forgotten".

    Books i can read over and over.....first two made into great movies and the third a bit more obscure but excellent reading especially if you care any about the precarious future of the planet we live on...highly recommended !

    Totally agree with you. I wrote a whole 25 track concept album based on ideas inspired by that Native Siberian Literature book !

    Ok I'll bite... wouldn't your mind be your greatest tool? and adding new angles, considerations and outlooks on basically everything via the printed word... does that not alter your own algorithms, exposing new sensory values and awareness? these teachings, however you choose to interpret them, wouldn't they translate into not only your musical messages, but everything you are?
