Sometimes sheets are pain on the wrong spot.
First up, it takes months and years to be fluent in reading or writing, but also there are so many standards of notation. For example - spacing. I'm used to type of spacing in measures which makes every measure the same length, regardless of its content. It's then quite easy to navigate just by looking and not counting up loud. But most scores aren't written this way, so it makes the reading part a bit difficult.
Also every instrument needs to be transposed except for piano and strings. And that's a lot of work.

the way DAW was created, if piano roll doesn't exist, i maybe not able to write music at all with sheets, as in Guitar Pro. maybe it's a different course to take, maybe have to learn music theory notation and so on. but yeay i can skip it lol.
