When you download it, assuming you're using the 64 bit Studio One, I believe you need to download the:

    StudioOneX-v1.2.1-x64 folder that contains:
    • -ChangeLog.txt
    • config.cfg
    • install.cmd
    • lame.dll

and the StudioOneX-v2.1.0-package folder that contains:
    • studioonex.package
However, there are absolutely no instructions on what goes where and how to install it. There is nothing on the Studio One X website either. I hastily tried to run the install.cmd as administrator, but all it seems to have done (worryingly!) is change the lame.dll to liblame.dll in C:\Program Files\Presonus\Studion One 3.

Is anyone able to provide some help on how to install it to get it working as it should? The links I provided for the latest version yesterday has got over 400+ views in less than 24 hours, so there is clearly a lot of people using it or interested in it. If one of them kind folk could provide some installation advice, it would be hugely appreciated!

    - Copy the extracted files lame.dll and config.cfg to Studio One program directory (rename original lame.dll just for the case).
    - Copy file studioonex.package into Studio One scripts directory (C:\Program Files\PreSonus\Studio One 3\scripts).
    - install.cmd is not needed, but you can edit that file with notepad to see what is going on
    - Restart Studio One.

I think you will get rid of that very soon. Some of existing scripts are not so well.

Does anyone have instructions for MAC? I caught the information about it yesterday, but I didn't see clear installation instructions.

@nikon, is it really not worth it?

(New to Studio One 3, here)

Topic: Installing Scripts Library on Mac OSX
There have been many questions from Mac users on how to correctly install the Scripts Library in Studio One on MacOS. I do not use a Mac computer, so below is a procedure as described by one of the users:

In Finder go to Applications > Studio One, then right (control) click the folder to "Show Package Contents".

You will see a folder named "Scripts" in there. Drag the downloaded studioonex.package file into that folder and restart Studio One. You will see a new X button alongside Quantize and Macros buttons.

    http://forum.narechk.net/viewtopic.php?id=12

This has the potential to be awesome but a little fiddly as-is.
@Bunford I have a feeling his page looks like that 'coz he's about to roll out another revision with more changes.

Guys, can someone provide me a bit of assistance ?

    I installed the StudioOneX-v1.2.2-x64

and I copied studioonex.package to the scripts folder...

And I got crashes everytime on startup screen .

The error appears everytime on "Starting External Devices Support"

And it says code: c0000005 and fault module name ntdll.dll, as far as I understand it is some sort of access violation error ?

The moment I revert to the old lame.dll, or just erase the newly created one, everything works, even totally without it, and while I have the X toolbar which is working, I don't have full screen and middle click and other options that the StudioOneX executable provides...

Can someone suggest some workaround, or at least upload the 1.2.1 version so I can try, because I can't find it online?

    Thanks

There are NO live links for the studio one X package file (the executable's library). The site is down, and the site index contains no studio one x binaries. The presonus forums thread is a dead end, and people keep posting the same link to the site. The only way to get this add on is if some one who has the package will share it here.

So will any one post the install package for studio on X here?? Seriously guys its only a few kilobytes of data and you can upload the zip files directly in your post.

The op shared the scripts library: https://audiosex.pro/threads/studio-one-x-latest-version-1-2-1.30233/ but we still need the 'studioonex.package' to install the x macro bar

Here are the last versions, but, as said before, it won't work since the creator made it expire after a certain time for whatever reason.

Why hasn't presonus just added it on themselves I'm sure they are aware of it...

He probably downloaded the files while the site was still active. anyway thanks @t66t for uploading the files.

I've been testing it this morning and I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to make studio one X work after the expiration date.

It will expire in 30 days from the first time you install it, hence why everyone else is talking about it expiring on their systems.

But I did figure out a seamless way to to keep it working past the expiration date.

If anyone is interested in knowing how, let me know and I'll post the info here.
