Try Neutron2 mix assistant on a dry vocal,

-style on upfront
-intensity on high

if you disable all set modules except the eq, should give a fair impression of the possibilities of high frequency' boosts.

throw an 1176(comp), delay & a la2a(comp) after that and you could come pretty close to this.

 

It probably is more due to the choice of microphone and only a good mic will allow a magical high end like that. Boosting a bad microphone's high end only shows the shards of broken glass smashed on the floor.

Control your mids for all instruments (nice trick is to Lowpass & Highpass your master 300Hz to 4KHz and listen, can you hear all your arrangement clearly?)

Choose & boost 4Khz, 8KHz, 10KHz, 12Khz depending on your vocals, removed from all other instruments
In other words wherever you boost on any given instrument remove from all others, Cut to taste
