its a normal win10 thing..... to to downgrade to win7 and you can have all the plugins you like... win10 is just a collection of security issues, the worst os for a daw btw....

well honestly i still dont know...somebody told me...that he had the same experience while activating s1...and he had to reinstall windows...once signed in he couldnt do anything...and thats exactly what i was experiencing...no matter what i did..nothing worked

 

Coz of no support for my hardware....i know there is a workaround for that..but thats messy..do you have any suggestion?
I did install win 7 once but it gave me message...hardware is not supported..something like that
yeah i agree...experiencing so many issues ever since i installed win 10..even got my computer hacked once

Guyss...By the way ...how do you get stuff like vu and channel strip working from generated licenses?

 

If not done already, drag and drop install packages onto S1 welcome screen. S1 will ask to activate.
Navigate to where licenese files were created and select license for your package.

The Current 3.5.2 R2R release allows drag & drop of all packages including help system.

Shanu, you have a very bad habit of mixing things up making it hard to figure out what you are talking about and what you are really doing. that is the reason i asked you to list exactly what you were doing. and still you didn't mention a "detail" like signing into presonus.. and you wonder why you dont get it to work and ask for help

bro...i tried installing S1 many months ago and signed in during that activation and gave up......but i didnt signed in this time during activation.. i didnt know that i was facing problem due to the sign in thing i did many months ago...so it never occured to my mind to even share that with you....that it could be of any importance...immma noob man....

They are available in previous releases and some individually. On the sister site, do a search for Presonus Studio One.
There you will find a few. Can't remember which release had a good collection of extensions. Good question to pose.

 

btw there is an update from microsoft regarding some machines having problems with apps and presonus mentioned something about activation problems, could be what some people here are experiencing , look for this one an install kb4043961

 

I had the same issue on the newest Studio One 3.5.3 update. I'm using windows 10 x64 home edition with the fall creators update. I followed all the steps like before but kept getting the license error. The two things I did different to get it to work is when using the keygen is changed the user name and re patched the file and generated a new license. After I was done I had my antivirus block studio one from calling home by using the internet. Make sure you are using the newest r2r keygen and do the offline activation. Anyways, I hope this helps.

i did the same thing.. but my 3.5.3 didnt show plugins even after scanning

I installed right over 3.5.2 doing the way I posted above and everything works. I can have my internet on while having studio one open. You just need to mess around with it because it does work. Studio one needs to be blocked from the internet by using a antivirus firewall.

 

I'm having this same issue. Clean install (win10), followed all the steps in order and the behavior is the same. Upon rebooting, S1 is no longer authorized. I have to re-run the patcher and generate a whole new set of licenses. The previous ones no longer work. I've tried several different versions and they all behave the same. Is there a different version around that does not use the R2R patcher?

 

have you checked kb4043961? have you updated your system with windows update?

when you don't see an avalanche of people with your same problem its because mostly its something particular for your system only, or else it gets fixed sooner or later with an update from the daws manufacturer or the os
