Problem with reFX Nexus 2.2.0 AiR on Windows 8.1

    i installed Nexus 2.2.0 AiR on an external drive, just as you would do on an internal drive, but now i have the problem that i can load presets in the browser just by clicking on them.
    i have to click on them (to select) and then i need to use the arrow keys on my computer keyboard to load them. It is annoying, but it works.
    (im using Ableton 9.7.5 x86 on windows 8.1 x64)

    any similar problem like mine here?

    Thanks.

    (PS buying Nexus is not an option, as i need only a couple of presets from it.)

    Did you try making symlinks? If it's installed on external, then maybe it's a registry thing. Install Nexus on your computer, copy the files onto your external drive, then create some symlinks so your computer thinks the files are in the right place.

    Nexus (legit) only loads presets with double-click or right arrow, single-click selects the preset but does not load it.

    jayxflash you are wrong, i just loaded my nexus and i can load presets with double click

    So in what way I am wrong? I said I can load presets by double-click or right arrow. Moving with cursor keys and right arrow does not work for you?

    my nexus is not legit i can load presets with double click, you said only legit nexus can do this

    the nexus.dll is on the external drive too, i know not it is not the fastest, but even omnisphere loads quite fast still.
    nexus engine has found the library and created a ndb file, which is always loaded when nexus is launched. you dont need a symlink, because nexus already knows the content is in that folder.

    i used nexus in the past for like 5-6 years straight almost everyday, so i know you have to double click to load shit.

    it is really strange, because last xmas i installed it too on an external drive and it working nicely, w/o the BS.
    the drive letter btw is made static, it always the same drive letter given the external drive.

    if nothing helps i will have to live with it.

    i know uhe is using this for all their plugins. i can check it out.
