  3. Nice idea...though I am sure that I would destroy it after dropping something on it like my amp and wrecking the screen, or stepping on it too hard and cracking it after my 4th shot of tequila. Touch screens on the floor, hmmm?

with all those fancy pedals... I think this guy can get ahold of $8000 himself somehow...

only $7342 to go then he starts production in December...

ah does anyone remember the guy who came here begging everyone to buy him an apollo so he could advance his"art"
I checked his gofundme (whatever) and the last tally... $11 :hillbilly:

Quite a balancing act adjusting the top half. The bottom five are simple on/off switches?
It's probably a bunch of 5 cent piezo sensors on a piece of wood. Success of this product would depend on the price point. The Behringer MIDI pedal with 10 switches, LED indicators per switch and two exp pedal is $150 new.

herrDurr, I borrowed the pedals and the lovely amp. Though the Tele in the background is mine. :) Hopefully it's a good price point compared to other more limited MIDI controllers.

dragonhill: you can make as many squares/cells or as few as you want, and any or all of them can be switches or send messages based on position and pressure. You can also send multiple messages per cell. It's bluetooth or wired. We're aiming to compete more with the RJM line than Behringer.

What is your target price? With a foot controller it is hard to hit anything smaller than the five in a row example you gave.
Not quite a direct competition but the bluetooth Guitar wing is discounted from $150 to $79 recently.

Add backlight, so you can get a visual feedback when enabled.
With powerful LEDs, light can pass through.

For $150 new the Behringer has two programmable relays so it can channel switch just about any amp out there. Not the three or four amps that happen to respond to MIDI. Each Behringer switch can also send MIDI messages on 5 channels simultaneously. Once the EXP pedals are controlling Macros in Ableton, the possibilities are limitless anyway.

The UNO chip for $20 gives you stompbox mode with LED on/off, which makes the FCB1010 a great MIDI and amp channel controller. To control the BPM in Ableton for sync'ed efx, I was able to turned one of the stompbox on/off's to a momentary switch.

    Good luck with your endeavor.

What the fuck! they give a free foot controller for support of 325$! I can buy 11 BEHRINGER FCV100 expression pedals for that money, and I have not bought 1 yet! :snuffy:

@metaller Where are you going to plug that FCV100 into? What do you want to control?
