I remember, way back when, I had VST plugins installed all over the place and I ended up setting a dedicated folder with organized shortcuts (aliases) and subset folders for the bridged plugins and it worked like a charm.
It took me forever and I thought I was being clever.
    The truth is:
Single Custom VST Folder Synchronization -
    SUCKS.

    And we will ALWAYS overcome.

All my entire life, on all my workstations, i have TWO folders. One for vst, one for samples.

Why just don't setup all vsts in ONE dedicated folder instead of wasting hours/days/weeks/years trying to collect shortcuts across the system?

Yes. This is what happens now.
That was what used to happen before.

Also, Steinberg’s and Cakewalk’s installation paths SUCK. It’s a good thing their programs are worth the hassle.

You can change default vst folder in registry. There even was a tweak called setVSTpath.

Man, I didn't know. Specially, VST3s plugin path is a PITA. Works for them too?

AFAIK No. But you don't have to. There's only one possible place for vst3 (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) and every daw searching there by default. So even if you can change that path in registry - what is the profit?

Working with warez ableton since 7 ,i thought or was good to buy standard licence now. Live 10 bêta could manage heavy project that 9.7 couldn t after an hardware upgrade
    Max is. far better
Utility ca n manage serions stéréo management
Écho and pedal really does it without cpu charge
In live playing , live 10.0.0 is far better
