no idea why everyone gets so obsessed about 5K,
I have 2560x1440 27" screen, when I put 5K, everything is too small unless I scale it (so it defeats the purpose of more workspace),
for 4K+ video editing, even topped iMac is too weak,
my hackintosh with 6-core i7 and GTX980Ti meets minimum recommended specs by Blackmagic for 4K video color grading btw,
and guess what, my hackintosh works, no mess, just because someone is not capable of settings things up doesn't make it a messy solution, and to be honest I would still prefer to dig the software rather than cutoff the glued iMac display off the monitor and then reglue back,
there is zero convenience customizing iMac the way shown in video, no reason to prefer that over hackintosh, especially if you talk about 4K+ video editing which needs serious performance and serious cooling (not the laptop single-fan solution in iMac)
