Interested who here is actually using this and has it made any difference on your workflow, mix results?
This is not a loudness meter. Its based on the TT dynamic range meter.

Tischmeyer himself said to be really sure about dynamics you have to measure them offline.

So, if I'm mastering a track I keep two eyes on the level meter in the loudest parts and after rendering I crosscheck it with TTDR Offline Meter.

Very cool! Look forward to use it :headbang:
One problem I always have is when the music looses it's dynamics and it is not interesting anymore. That will happen when you use compressors on everything for no reason.

    Watch this great review :

  5. When I edit the music for my daughter's ice skating performances I usually need to slap three or four compresssors on the mixes (sometimes an expander) and then an eq at the end of the chain to bring back lost frequencies so that there is hardly any dynamic movement in the mix. Quiet passages are lost in large ice skating/hockey arenas and the power and finess of the performance seems bound to the consistency of the accompanying music. It is very boring to listen to outside of it's intended use but needs be done in this instance. The skating performance must shoulder the dynamic burden lost in the music by way of certain stylized gestures in movement by the competitor to infuse a sense of cresendo and decresendo, loudness, quietude and silence.
