for eq make a large Q and add and cut by 18db in multiple areas to get aggressive EQ.
to make a compressor aggressive use a threshold -27db, attack 2ms, release 30ms, ratio 12:1 , hard knee

we dont need to use aggressive comp anymore on drums just actually record through a microphone slapping your finger against a piece of cardboard for the kick drum ,and flicking a piece of line paper with your finger,for your snare
mic em up and you got instant "aggressive compressed" drums without even needing to use a compressor! holy shit!
you can even tap a nail on a kitchen plate for a closed hit hat!

Omniopressor as a Comperssor, for the Eq part, any EQ can be agressive, if you want it to.

 

T-Racks Black is my go to comp if I want to instantly slap a whole lot of in your face agression on a sound. Anybody else here using it?

the different types of compressors (based on the parts inside) can be softer or "harder"
