    I'm here https://soundcloud.com/djblackbounty

actually everything in there is almost just ideas, loops of stuff I'm working on.

I'm starting (and trying) to learn ableton and traktor as much as I can, because I want to do some live.

I want to find a compromise between just hit play and having fun with mixing live, so there's a lot to learn in terms of softwares, controllers, ect
and also doing my own stuff.
I have maybe more than 30 songs that are waiting to be completed, or finished so

    :thumbsup::mates:

@Impressive should be selling custom music beds for ALL comercial applications TV/Radio/Film IMO He is a master at creating a vibe and evoking a certain feeling or emotion.

I actually want to learn to sing... because these songs have lyrics. If the songs had vocals, I feel like they could go beyond just some commercial music. But I don't even plan on making music for a living. I really just do music for a hobby that makes me happy when life gets tough. Songwriting has healed so many wounds for me.
I have tried selling music on places like audiojungle and premiumbeat and more. 95% of the stuff I submitted got rejected because it "doesn't fit our catalog. please listen to some of our current examples for a better understanding of what we look for."
So here is what I learned (get ready for some off topic comedy)...

If you wanna produce for commercials, the first thing you need is one of these:

Then you're gonna need one of these:

Then to top it all off, we all have one of those annoying unemployed friends who can be found in the kitchen in his underwear making a sandwich and just randomly start whistling to the point where you just wanna offer to make the sandwich for him if he just shuts the fuck up, so why not give them a job? Record the annoying friend whistling in his underwear while making a sandwich. Sample it, and then play it over the above instruments. Then name it "On the road to success" and 500 people will buy it (be sure to tip the whistling guy like 10%-ish).
Occasionally, you can use one of these too:

There. Now you have a corporate music bed ready for release. :winker:

But all in all, I only share music on soundcloud because I do get messages frequently that my music helps people get thru their day. These are from people who are not spammers and are not being cheesy. Because I have an anti-spam system set up on my SC. It's simple - say "PANCAKES" in the message body somewhere. Even if it's just random. If I do not see this word in the message body, I will not respond. Some people get creative with it: "Hey I really PANCAKES your music. It really made PANCAKES me smile. Hey we should col-PANCAKES-lab some-PANCAKES-time! Oh yeah in case I forgot to say it - PANCAKES!"

That wasn't a serious work and I didn't spend much time on it, but it's the famous one on my soundcloud:

Shortly, a guy was trying to recognize a song and did a voice record. Then I mixed it :hillbilly:

Get a sustain pedal. Full sustain makes the low mid bloated, the piano is drowning in it. Otherwise good.

Imo too much reverb on certain instruments, ease up on it and bring the mix more to the front where you will get a more focused, tight, pro sounding mix.

Yeah, I got one. Just not a momentary (expression) one, just switch =( which is pretty awful. I kinda need a proper footswitch thing USB (bluetooth pref). Better, if there was some way to stick the "sustain" bits of Hammersmith on separate audio out, rly. If anyone knows how to do that or if it's possible? Appreciate it!
