this will make my year. Actually the only thing that a musician needs is some time to practice...

Try to have better wishes and goals! Wishing for an EQ or compressor, or just some loops even if you get them, won't make you a better musician. There are already good plugins in your daw! And lots of loops every wehere in sister site.

OK, even if we're to classify this thread as "not request", does it have any deeper purpose?
It's cool to wish for something, but can't see the benefit of writing it out in the public for other reason than to catch attention.

 

Part of adulthood is keeping your wishes in your gut and hoping something will occur. I assume most here are adults. Things similar to informing mom and pop what you want on your birthday and sending christmas lists to santa claus shouldn't consume the minds of adults.

 

Although! We have Halloween tomorrow.... would love to see utopia release again soon...

My wish: a few internal releases

 

I wish "Worldwide Peace"... mmh-- not gonna happen... fk americans fk all the arab nations..

My christmas wish is a roof over my head and a full stomach and family/friends that care about me. You know, the bare necessities that unfortunately not everyone has on the holidays? For one of the wealthiest countries on Earth, I sure see plenty of homeless people around the holidays. When you have to live in an impoverished area, you become more humbled. The more humbled you get, the more you appreciate a "Merry Christmas" from someone on the street, and the more you appreciate socks for christmas. I don't care if it's easter and they're drunk and telling me "Merry Christmas" lol. I just want the bare necessities - and I'm sure I'll have them unless something catastrophic happens. But that's why it's a Christmas wish. Because you never know what can happen in this cruel world. One minute you can be atop the highest mountain and then the next thing you know you can be in the deepest cesspool. Life has its ways of surprising us. So all I want is:
1. Food in my stomach.
2. A roof over my head/bed to sleep in.
3. Caring family/friends around.
4. For those I love & care about to be safe and healthy.

Pretty simple but unfortunately not guaranteed. So I feel kind of bad asking for luxurious things on the Holidays. People don't expect luxurious things from me, I shouldn't expect it from them.

Having an empty stomach, an empty wallet, and a broken heart, teaches you some of life's most valuable lessons. Unfortunately, I been down that road for the Holidays before where I was hungry, poor, and heartbroken. I hope I never travel that road again. But it gives you awareness of how good you have it just by having a roof over your head and a full stomach.

I’m new here—started playing in the sixties—was drafted -sent to nam 1968–combat—first infantry division—I’m just happy to be alive. This is a great site-lotsa good folks-I own a small studio—have for many years-it’s a privilege to be able to make and record music.much appreciative for the opportunity to have access to software I Was never able to afford.trying to give back by now buying some of what I was able to try out due to this site.i have no wish list.its all good.
