    pfff 20% off, gonna grab trail version and then wait for a release. for a student the EDU version is still damn expensive and you only get the major update like usual.

    i dont think AX will fail ... so far A9 got all i need, just a few improvements and i am happy. so if they keep A9 stability and features, i wont jump to bitwig.

    bitwig has no working release up to date release out there, while Ableton has, so the answer will for me ableton.

    More than once I've made contibutions to software remodeling. Found some bugs in math parts of programs we use in our company to charge customers. The IT division NEVER admitted there were problems, but the bugs disappeared a few weeks later like magic.:rofl:

    I'm here for it. Improved feel of the pads and a smaller form factor. Nothing much to complain about. Does it really need an onboard interface? IMO, no. What else?

    Roli's Seaboard has a great feeling silicone for the keyboard. Or Seaboard Blocks' (new) for translucent silicone.

    Perhaps Ableton is forced to slow down Live's development due to other products and partners: Ableton hardware, Cycling74 Max, ROLI/Juce,...
    It must be difficult to introduce major changes without bugs in compatibilty in so many fronts.

    Ableton needs "dump score log to selected pattern" from Fl, unless it already has it & i just dont know about it

    Why bother with Ableten when Live hasn't fixed bugs like latency compensation since ever?
    Would be good to see skinnable GUI too.

    a daw that cannot even search multiple vst folders is a fail and why the hell they put the tracks on the right and not make it an option to put on the left idk. bitwig and studio one blow ableton away imo. just someone please crack 2.2!

    Ableton is stacking too much things : hardware controllers, M4L, external touch solutions (because Live was not made for that) and more.
    Very hard to move a line of code :wink:

    Bitwig (ableton) and Studio One (Cubase) simply prove sometimes, you need to start back from scratch.

    If you want ableton to scan multiple folders just put the folder shortcuts in vst folder that you selected.
