Ok so.....Yes i do actually agree,the hats are indeed to loud from the get go....
When its a min or so in ,its fine bein that volume...But on the start you do need to introduce it more gradually..
Dont use the same hat on intro,That yur then gonna use when you bring the 4/4 in.....
Im stlllistenin bruvv ill be back...

 

Like it tho......If i had to criticise you,id say that i do genuinley think you need to variate it all up....
Variate the shit outta the drums , n that hook that climbs up n down the scale..
Its good .......
But what i will say ,is its a touch repetetive...
Thats where variating it all comes into play...

Me personally,idve added quite a bit of swing quantizing to the drums ovrall...a touch too elswhere as well...
Like try to break it down here n there....>
i Mean break down ther elements a lil before it kicks off...
Maybe go half time with the drums..
Then bring it in 4/4...wth swing....
And as those other synthy stabby bits come it.....
Filter the shit out of em, with a lil break beat or suttin...
Then hit me with the 4/4...

And heavy up the hook a lil more....

Maybe simply duplicate the channel..
So you have two..
nd hard pan each trk left n right..
Jus a lil thickening trick bud....
Actually if it were me id make a dozen duplicates of the hook!
Then id resample it into one....
Then id run it and reverse it nd manipulate the hell outta it...

Try high pass filtering the higher frequencies outta the hats too bud....

The vox ,even if its jus vocal stabbs,often will make a tune into what it is,and is actually a shame that this element is missing...
