@adrien hi my friend,in my humble opinion for around $2500 US you can get a brand new pair of Focal solo's 6 Be
have you checked the focal range of monitors ?

    Thanks @dragonhill
What if I send mono output from DAW instead of using shown adapter? Will it work?

Yes. If you make sure you mono the master and not simply pan to the center. Remember the efx are usually stereo.
I would get a decent pair of headphones first and check the mix with your mono monitor.
    Thanks to this forum's great contributor's, I recently got a Samson SR850 for $40.

I tried them, they are truely awesome and of quality built...I would def go for it if you can afford.
If second hand, it is obviously recommended to try them before, just to be sure they haven't got any problem.

not comparable with pmc twotwo6 (at all), different league.

Thanks. I will follow your advice. At least I will check with headphones usually provided with mobile phones.

In the end it is how the gear is used. NS10s are how much?
@adrien ,as others have recommended maybe treat your room first?

I think it is a good good price you are getting.

If you really are into them you should get them, but check them out first. 1 year is not a problem the time is nothing, but if some idiot turned them up quick or if they've been over driven repeatedly there could be issues. The warranty is good, the issues is if there is damage from abuse you have to make sure they will not say you did it and refuse to fix your speakers.

As far as room treatment vs sonarworks - it's not really the same. Sonarworks is great, especially on headphones, it can give you something stable, but it's not my thing, and its not the same thing.

I agree with they guy above who said don't spend more than one thousand euro per monitor unless you are going to actually treat the room.

The difference is like ... hum that was a lewd though ... but yhea like that... vs a picture of ... more lewd thoughts... ughhh

I guess you already have some sort of stereo monitoring? Why not put one of those aside and see if it drives you crazy?

I know that the PMC twotwo 6 are the one but tomorrow there will be a brand new monitor from PMC which will be prensented, i know it s a category under the twotwo, it could be a good balance. Let's give a chance to the new stuff

The reason I recommended those cables and adapters is because sometimes I like to check a 2tk mix on a non DAW. I'm not sure most simple players have a mono option. Plus getting the 3.5mm to the two RCA cable now, by adding one more rca female to 1/4" male adapter, you are prepared for when you get that second monitor.

If it's a serious business you got the offer from they will let you test the monitors in your studio. You cannot buy monitors in that price range without checking them in your studio first. Every monitor will sound differently from studio to studio.
Test them and then decide. One year of usage is nothing for a good pair of monitors.

They are considered to be the top professionals (they provide all concerts, nightclubs etc) and they have a big business. I can test them in a shop near to my studio but i didn't ask for my studio. It's a good idea to ask to check at my studio, thanks

though i'm still waiting the new monitors today ;), PMC should create a new page on them but for the moment nothing. I know that they are a level under the twotwo but they are new, active and less expensive, maybe i could be impressed. here is the article : "We will launch an exciting new monitor that guarantees ideal results for every audio professional in all areas of music recording, mixing, mastering, broadcast and post production. Incorporating radical new technologies that deliver exceptional sonic performance" http://pmc-speakers.com/events/aes-2017

If they will be presented at aes think of the different time zones. It's 5 in the morning there.
