    TC Electronic Quintessence Harmonizer

The TC Electronic Quintessence Harmonizer pedal is the latest launch from guitar tech aficionados TC-Electronic. An intelligent dual voiced harmony pedal, the Quintessence Harmonizer operates with TC Electronic's revolutionary MASH technology, meaning that the pedal can respond to the pressure that you exert on the pedal.

With the option to choose between latching and momentary footswitch modes, the Quintessence Pedal offers complete versatility to the discerning guitarist. Give your playing more depth and explore the musical blueprint laid down by bands like Thin Lizzy and the Allman Brothers. Able to harmonize any note to any scale, the Quintessence Harmonizer is capable of bending up to the next note without even touching the guitar. Harmonize entire passage of music with TC Electronic's intuitive TonePrint technology.

TonePrint, along with the free TonePrint App, allows you to load your own distinct signature tones into your pedal for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind operation. Design and manipulate your own harmonised interval effects from the ground up with the free TonePrint Editor available for PC, Mac and iPad.

Despite its complex nature, the Quintessence Harmonizer's setup is extremely straightforward and user-friendly.

I've yet to try an harmonizer that doesn't sound like ass for dual guitars "Maiden" stuff. Maybe this is the one.

Interesting but his overall tone is a lil bit too reverby..

  8. Just got a Korg SDD 3000 Pedal. You can plug synths into these guitar mommas just as good.

I guess that´s all up to you and your other pedals ... this pedal doesn´t provide any reverb!

If you can find a cheap second hand DigiTech IPS33
Used on this song (single guitar line) :

AND if you find a IPS33B and add an expression pedal...you get the same chip than a Whammy I.
    And more functions :mates:

IF not, you can always find a cheap BOSS PS5/PS6 : they do the trick

I had an IPS33B. And as @Pipotron3000 mentioned it's the same IVL chip used in the original Whammy pedal.
Quite a huge difference from the non B in terms of features. On the B version you can store custom scale harmonies with the intelligent pitchshifting capabilities, Valhalla like shimmer effect and the pitched sequencer which was way ahead of it's time.

Eventide Octovox or Quadvox will do most of What the pedal offers and more. You can do some cool pitch sequencing.
You can assign the sustain pedal of your USB controller for setting changes.
