What DAW can import old cubase sx cpr files?

    Ahoy ahoy,
    way back, I used to work with cubase sx as opposed to now where I work with Live. As luck would have it, I have to edit an old project.
    Is there a DAW that can import old cpr files? They are mainly audio projects and I really don't care about the plugins and stuff, I just need the edits in place and the snippets where they belong in the timeline...
    Also, it would be great if the DAW does not have a steep learning curve (I'm familiar with Pro Tools, Logic, Live, and yeah Cubase). I just need to redo the mix so nothing fancy.

    Ohoy friend!

    I had a lot of old nuendo sx 3 projects. They opened fine in cubase 5.1

    They did not open in elements 8 though, I had to save all projects as .cpr in c5.1 first. Elements 8 would then open the new .cpr files

    If you dont want to install cubase you could try AAtranslator. They will translate a project for free if you contact them.
