Difficult. The most similar plugin that I use is ApeDelay by apeSoft, but that's on iOS only. When I need it, I use the iPad as a virtual audio device over USB cable.
NI Spektral Delay is even older, Melda MSpectralDelay is still, well, fiction.

But probably Melda's MTransformer (see on youtube) comes close!

Otherwise, my second try would probably be combining multiple plugins from www.soundhack.com.
Sugar Bytes Turnado is another very flexible modular FX unit, but I doubt that you'll be able to tune in similar effects as quickly as in Obelisk. I've never seen another comparable effect that is as simple to use as Obelisk.

    Why switch?
LPX and Ableton together are a great combo :P

Yes, for a good reason: 32bit plugins and my strange workflow. I use 32bit Ableton and 64bit LPX.
I either sync them over midi (rarely) or capture the first sparks of creativity in Ableton and then do the routine work in LPX (mostly).

I think he means if it is possible to just transfer the midi to logic instruments he does that

obelisk is a wicked plugin. and, until now i have never seen someone else mention it.
it's a little complex at first glance, but well worth taking some time with it.
i also use Dubstation a lot and bionic super delay. all good stuff but obelisk is best...

I guess there is a way, but thats only sending midi clock, and not transfering midi chords http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/clocker.html , it does work for IAC drivers, perhaps this plugin would work in a standalone VST host aswell instead of Ableton?

Btw: Obelisk is about Midi Chords isn't it ; The suggestions in this thread are on a whole different field...

Edit: NVM, I think Logic can't act as a Slave, right?

Both LPX and Live can be Midi Clock slaves, if you prefer running them simultaneously.

Have a look at this Obelisk.
Of course you can also host it in a separate VST/AU host, the audio and midi routing will be more work of course, and I wouldn't want to mess around with additional virtual audio and midi connections that cannot be saved with your DAW project for "total recall". But it's possible of course.

"I've lost most of the day to this thing, just idly having a bit of a look"

He nailed it. Oh my, so many great plugins, please, don't you tempt me to try them all!
