It's pretty easy to change the velocity color with Skin Editor

Min velocity is nr. 68 and Max velocity nr. 69
The background colour for piano roll is 12. It's a pain in the ass to test it though.

I love Dark skins...Very dark ones...Howevr i think piano roll must be more open to the eye

I also have to agree with Pinkman, the default skins usability is straight on point, eventhough it's not the prettiest imo.

Eris, i wish i could make the piano roll brighter. However, if the brightness is increased just by one point, the song position marker line will change color to black on the brighter tiles and back to white on the darker ones

 

This is just a bump. The creator of this skin has updated it a couple times since I posted this. Changes to the color of the solo/record and made the text in the search easier to read...ect
