    Hi,
I have a SHARP Mini Component System CD-S450, including a X-BASS-Button which emphasize the deep tone spectrum of the frequency-spectrum... I hope my translation isn't that bad, i uploaded also a picture from the manual of CD-S450:
    http://img.ishare.to/?di=7WXG

When I produce tracks I active that button, but when i listen to the track with earphones for example i miss the bass... So Im searching for a Effect-VST which have the same effect as the X-BASS-Button... Does anybody know a VST which can do that???

I hope you guys understood what Im trying to say...

dont think it's a good idea to mix on SHARP Mini Component System CD-S450 with or without "x-bass-button", ofcoz' if it's only for you and your headphones it doesn't matter. every bass-enhancer-plugin should do the job. the advice from Xsze is right also SyncerSoft Bass Landscapes comes to mind.

Your way of mixing is wrong
You should mix on the "flatest" or "the most neutral" system to really hear what you are adding or removing from your song.

If you mix on a bass heavy system, your song will lack bass. If your system gives you to much highs, your finished song will have less highs.
It's not because you add the bass on your system, that you add the bass to your song (it's the opposite actually)

So you need to mix without this "xbass button", and add the bass on your mixed song, not on your system.

    There is a lots of methods ;
    - Equalizer
    - Multiband compressor
    - Parallel compression
    - or the easy way the VST (Voxengo LFmaxpunch is so good but hard to understand, so you have Waves Renaissance Bass or XBass 4000 are a lot more easy to use)--> but I prefer Waves MAXXBAss and VOxengo LFmaxpunch for more precision.

The Exciters can do a great job sometime, but I have not a lot of experience with these...

    Good luck

Okay first thanks to all for the answers, will try to check if the plugins you recommend will do the job...
And yes I know using a SHARP Mini Component System isnt the best way to mix, but thats the system i have an as long as i dont start to produce music for other people but me i wont buy another system...

I don't get it, if you're only playing your songs on your sharp system then surely pushing the xbass button while listening to finished article will reproduce the bass you had when you were mixing? Am i missing something?

Anyway yeah don't push the button when mixing use eq or other plugin then it'll be in the actual track rather than after it in the signal path.
