Just use what suites you best. A compressor job is to compress and if it does that, it is good enough. 99.99% of the members here will not know which company is making that compressor on a blind test.

 

Yup, I use the Warm and it is more upfront than some others but either have their uses. I haven't used the Overloud on drums. I have been using Disto and liking that a whole lot. With sizzle or sizzle, Disto works for lots of stuff. I wish that it was a little less power hungry, but it is what it is.

 

It is exactly the same in most audio domains : we reached a point where it is VERY hard to tell witch is witch.
Workflow and how YOU feel a solution is more and more important.

BUT there is a downside to this : using "facts check" arguments works less and less
