How's the matching? What could be impvoved / tweaked 'a bit' more?

    Thanks.

    How's the matching?

to me the bass is very different if you are trying to replicate. Too much of the buzzy top end.
The vocal is brighter than the original.

This was just a quick listen on some small Yamaha PA speakers. I'm sure others with proper scientific equipment can give you a better assessment.

Oh lord! Deserve standing ovation, applause! Such magnum opus seems too far-fetched for me. How did you make it?:woot:

I have to say that the original is more blurred and gooey, probably ran through a cheapo analog comp and/or tape. It's too much, I don't like that. On the remake, I would start by lowering and/or making the high hats less bright. And probably clap too, to some degree. Bass is also probably too bright. How do they match up? I dunno, is the point of a remake to make it sound exactly as the original?

sounds good. the original sounds more "phat",a bit more dull..remake sounds more clear (sounds better to my ears ),also original sounds like a snappy snare instead of a clap-snare in the remake. not a pro here, just giving opinion what it sounds like to me.

    good vibes.
