You get those messages because you're connecting to an auth server.

You have to disconnect from the internet. Then, it will say that it failed to connect (in order to authorize the serial). Press cancel, not retry. It will present you with other options. Select the one saying you already have an authorization code. Paste the code from keygen on the next window with the boxes. You're done.

Simple instructions:
1. Disconnect from internet
2. Install
3. Input serial (Run the plug-in in DAW if you skipped the serial input box after installing)
4. After it fails (You'll see a windows saying Could not connect to network...), press cancel
5. Select the option saying that you already have an auth code (I already have an Activation Key and want to activate now - third option)
6. Paste code (Activation Code box on kg) on next window
7. Done

as this collection of solutions grows and people need to search through them for the relative issue they are having perhaps a database in excel or via google docs would work and then you could just put a link to it so everyone could download the database and this database would just have the name of the product and the link to the thread on the issue with a note on what post has the correct solution. and leave room for more than one post as some people may find a solution based on win 7 and then the solution for win8 may be totally different. Also then each solution may vary according to daw as well but if we had a database that we could download and use it to look for these solutions then as pages were buried under other threads the database would offer us a way to surf the relevant pages we want to find. IT would be something simple to create because it is just a database and as people create threads here with problems then the solution appears as people work together to find it and we catalog it under the database and people can search the database under products and maybe we keep a different database per DAW or OS version. Just an idea. I think a database would be easier to surf through than a dedicated thread. Plus you can click on headings in a database and work with it to find the right product since it is alphabetized.

 

My plans for this project extend far beyond a Google Doc and I will work on it as time allows. Unfortunately I manage the day to day of two forums, run many side-projects in parallel and a plethora of other responsibilities. We're also planning on relaunching this forum so really pressed for time at the moment but in the future this will actually be a grand project.

Resolved operation issue with stand-alone by restarting system after install.

VST hangs after loading into DAW...

Fell back to v3.0.2.8

 

It's because of the massive amount of timebombs that FXpansion put into their product.

 

Thought I'd revive the thread a bit since I think it's a good idea to have a central topic for this.
At this point the only software I need to start with my network card unabled is Presonus Studio One 3.2.3. I know there are newer versions available but I'm hesitant to install 3.5.1 since I barely got the Channel Strip collection working.

However these days I use Windows Fire Control (https://www.binisoft.org/wfc.php). It's freeware and has worked for me in other situations. Still, Studio One's installation is such a drag plus I don't really use it (yet) so I'll wait but maybe others can benefit from this tool (which btw. I think was brought to my attention by another member here).
