yes, kontakt is the best sampler

Lethal is only good for commercial club sounds

Nexus is good, but refx are quite arrogant due to all the money

Anything UHE is great too, especially Diva, best analoge synth

    Avenger!
Vengeance sound just make their bussines top notch with that new licencing scheme and their demo is for unlimited clever demo use, which is cool and because of that FAIR trade and that will push more and more people to buy it and not to mention variety of avalaible sounds and making own soundbanks is simple and intuitive,so my oppinion and suggestion will be Avenger! It is number 1!

Thank you all for your excitement. Avenger is where it is at! The reason why.... because barely any noobs have it. Because it costs money. See everyone loves Sylenth because they didn't pay for it. I don't think it's all that great. Serum is a rock solid tool, just like Massive. I haven't tried UHE products yet. But I appreciate your insight.

  7. Once you try U-HE productucts you will most probably be impressed, that crew makes too notch tools.

Avenger Version 1.2.0 is out now! Granular Synthesis added and much more! Go for it! Sylenth is also nice as Rent to Own if you have some money left.

the gui is to dense and keeping 4GB factory sounds you wont use on your HDD is a pain when you have only a small SSD.

Everyone who professionally makes music, should have at least the rught equipment for it. A large screen, large and several hard drives should be the basic requirement. Many of the factory sounds are usable, but this is only my opinion. Yes, the Gui is big, but you can find all controls without diving through sub menus. I like that.

I have (and own) many choices for my favorite one, but I'd probably pick NI Massive. Korg WAVESTATION VI as my second choice.

I would consider Sonic Academy ANA2. While it's not a "one key does it all" automation workstation like Avenger(2) it really sounds awesome and is pretty cheap too (£56). And quite easy to learn. If you don't like other peoples sounds but want to create your own I don't see the point in buying Avenger
