It is a cry for some sort of help when one diverts the focus from an actual member, suffering in HOUSTON.

 

My thoughts are with and going towards any/all people of Texas whose person, family, friend's and loved one's are all surely worried sick trying to make sure one another is safe and secure. A good number of band's I am both of fan of and have met over the year's touring in some cases literally lost everything apart from their lives when Katrina devastated NOLA and more.
I am really hoping for all that it is not going to become the prolonged agony for people which was brought on by piss poor government assistance, Dreadful communications between the agencies that are in place for the very reason of such events that can not be intervened by human beings and the abysmal logistical amongst pretty much all other areas which are key to dealing with mother nature's wrath. Katrina was perhaps the greatest failure of George Bush Jnr and his NeoCon cabinet of cronies, Their far beyond hawkish foreign policy was effective at using the powers at their disposal when it came to anywhere in the middle east that was deemed just A OK for invading, destabilizing then ultimately levelling but it was just too much to ask of the same scumbag characters when their power was genuinely needed right on home soil! I do not always write a governments action's (or lack thereof) as deliberate in failing miserably to be of any use as it can quite often be the case that such large a government simply crumbles due to incompetency, Not malevolence. However it really is a tough call with regards to Bush Junior and his team, In particular Dick and Don (amongst a gaggle of others cut from that strange cloth!) make levelling a case of malevolence their way just so easy.
So with that said, I do hope that this President can drop any of the petty shit going on from right inside the guy's inner circle, Pull all the resources required together from the left, the right and any/everywhere else in the event that this has the potential to be as destructive as Katrina was, This is probably his first real test of just how skilled in leadership, delegation skills, bipartisanship to get all the help/aid to those in need of all such services. It would also be really good to see reality smacking the head's together of each and everyone of the idiotic LARPers whom are acting out their own millennial edition/version of Weimar republic era Germany and get damned well get real!!!

If they were mods in other forums for example engineering forums, their tasks were much more easier as pie. The only thing they had to do was muting members for being inactive but living among international artists with wild views towards subjects is really laborious.

Have you heard this one yet???? Global warming was the cause of this hurricane OR it made it worse.

Anyone ever read about the Texas hurricane of 1900 or 1915 Or the 70 other hurricanes that hit Texas in the last 100 years.
The Galveston hurricane was the worst hurricane on record (12,000 dead) and was there global warming in 1900?
Galveston was COMPLETELY destroyed and that's how Houston got so big.

It just kills me the disinformation that is out there. Any hurricane is just an excuse for the loons to come out.

 

Meh w/e a happens return to normalcy or volcanoes, meteors, or suicidal frogs from Venus it will be what it will be . I am comfortable with anarchy if it ever comes to that. I feel bad for the people in Houston, they have my empathy for whatever that is worth.

Let not get into climate science please, it so far above most of our heads that we might as well be discussing cosmic strings and quantum translocation for whatever that is worth. The loons come out of all camps, I remember when I was still living in Virginia and we got slamed by a hurricane and the loons in a different part of the country said that it was GOD's judgement. I remember even further back when I was in California and we had an earth quake and the loons said it was to punish California for tolerating and being a safe harbor to the sodomites... I have yet to have a dog that didn't bark at the mail man from behind the door or through a window, so why should the loons be any different.

First, all the Liberals trying to exploit this disaster as yet another lame excuse to bash President Trump, toward whom I myself am politically and emotionally neutral, are just as "unempathetic" as they want to try to call him, and should drown while asleep in their own bedrooms. This is not a political issue, it's an humanitarian crisis - don't insult the lives (and the deaths) and the losses of the people of the Texas coast area.

Second, it's really funny to see Yankees "caring" about Texas, all of a sudden. I'm no Texacentrist, as I've lived in various parts of the country during my life, but to the average New Yorker, Texas may as well be Somalia or Japan. The United States really is a "multi-cultural" nation, with regional cultures and ways of thinking so distinct that the common language among Americans (still officially English, by the way) is sometimes only a nominal characteristic. If this event is a reason to temporarily abandon bigoted disparagement of Texans as dumb gun-slingin' beef-eatin' yahoos or whatnot, then get your ass down to Houston and help pull bodies out of the mud.

Third, there is heavy evidence that this storm (like most freakishly-powerful storms of late) had been the result of geoengineering (that is, planned and executed in advance), which is mis-explained as "global warming" resutling from greenhouse gases and such. (I won't go into that more; plenty of that evidence is on YouTube.)

Fourth, if you want to see who was behind the geoengineered disaster, look at who profits from it within a decade afterward.
