I would like to try logic pro, but first I need to know:
Is there a possibility to automate a whole area of a track in one action like pro tools HD has with it's automation pannel?

Let's say I want one bar to be sent to reverb, and i want to change the send amount as the bar plays, and then ones I decide how much to send, I click on somthing and it changes the whole bar to much the send amount.

Is that kind of control over automation exists in logic?

you can automate almost every parameter in Logic. plugins, tracks, sends, volumes .. you name it.
there's a lot of good tutorials out there, (lynda, groove3, etc .. ) I suggest you watch them

thank you. yes I know you can automate, but is it possible to select a whole part, let it play while writing an automation, and then, ones you are satisfied, you click somewhere and the last automation applies to the whole selected part.

This method is mandatory for audio postproduction, where you want to write automate a whole section of speech with the same automations, without actually going in the automation lanes and changing it manually.
