If you click the download link for fseventer on this page the file opens as a text file in Safari. Just hit option/return and Safari downloads the file as an html file. Replace the .html extension by .zip and decompress the file. Voilà: there's your fseventer installer!

Damn! I only use Satin on OS X, just checked in on it and it seems to be working same as ever (I assume there would be a prompt if it suddenly reverted to demo mode or was unregistered). I can't remember who released it or how I installed it (I don't recall installing with a serial), and since there's no info window to click on, I can't even tell what mode it's running in or if it's "registered" (again, it seems to be functioning just fine, for now!). There's an item in the preset pulldown where you're supposed to enter a serial number, and it's blank, but as far as I can tell, it's not running in demo mode. But I am most definitely paranoid now ...

when you look on the routines he build in, hes a really good/clever dev. And every dev should have the right to protect his works.
when you have a good product and the industry is using it, why you should do discounts and give away/set the price for your products under their value?

anyway just buy the uhe plugin you like and use a lot, uhe deserves it. so i agree half half with you Kookaboo.

    You're right Artic,
the only thing that annoy me of u-he is the quite inflated ego when he talks about crackers.
But surely everybody have the right to protect their works, and it's also what make it a challenge for crackers.
If every soft out there used the old isRegisterd(bool) stuff (and there's still people in 2014 that use it *no*) cracking wouldn't be so funny.
That protection is genial if you ask me, total respect for him and his team
(and he fight the dev/crackers battle on an equal footing, just great coding skills
and a lot of fantasy and imagination not like iLok bullshit, like shooting with a tank on reversers).

    My Uhe Plugins all work.

I blocked Uhe folders with Comodo Internet security Hips Funktion (Free).

Hips can block Files or entire files in a folder to make changes in system or by themselves.

I've blocked Internet Connection for my DAW and Vstplugins too.

Since I use comodo I've never had problems and I never disconnect the internet.

Hips utility of comodo has nothing to do with internet. It is a Process Blocker. It can block different Process forms. That is the best way to keep Applications in control.
HIPS constantly monitors system activity and only allows executables and processes to run if they comply with the prevailing security rules that have been enforced by the user. For the average user, Comodo Internet Security ships with a default HIPS ruleset that works 'out of the box' - providing extremely high levels of protection without any user intervention. For example, HIPS automatically protects system-critical files, folders and registry keys to prevent unauthorized modifications by malicious programs. Advanced users looking to take a firmer grip on their security posture can quickly create custom policies and rulesets using the powerful rules interface.

I have to agree with you there copylefter, I've seen things on KVR that really boggle the mind. On the one hand he had some relationship with ASSiGN, on the other him and uhe employees were saying some derogatory shit about the scene. I personally won't buy an uhe synth for that reason and the reason that I can never seem to demo the thing properly, not to mention they are somewhat overrated, overpriced and not exactly resource efficient. He has some freeware synths that I use which are in some ways better than what he's put out commercially. I'd rather just save up for a hardware synth, perhaps the TI2. I lived before uhe came around and I'm living just fine now. However I do appreciate the elegance of not implementing a draconian iLok system but still hope that one day it will get cracked wide open. I wonder how AiR would have fared against this type of protection.

This is what worked for me (finally). Windows 7
    Uninstalled using conventional method.
Used regedit to delete all instances of u-he and zebra (except the reference to the installation files on an external drive)
Used aforementioned addition to host file.
Moved calendar ahead to August 6th and installed the R2R version - tested in Reaper - OK.
Moved Calendar back to today - tested in Reaper - OK.
    Hope it works for you.

u-he Plugin Pack June 2010 *WORKING* - ASSiGN
    Date : 21 June 2010

    * NOTE ABOUT PROTECTiON *

Latest u-he has an extra protection. Developer calls it "Virtual Machine".
Most PCs use code A for protecting, but code B suddenly appears on the rest
of PCs. So most crackers does not recognize code B which has to be cracked.
We finally found the hidden extra protection and bumped it.

After 2010 they added even more protections + "Virtual Machine".

Does this have to be august 6th (seeing you posted this on july 6th) or is it simply 1 month forward?

    Hey ppl,
    just a heads-up:
the 1.4 r2r version of diva is timebombed.
it just blew up in my face... meaning: it goes out of tune after a while. i have it installed since over a year with no issues whatsoever so you might never notice. just so you know if suddenly your harmonies sound weird.

Ive had a few repeated issues ,one of which just last week whereby the majority of all my uhe plugs suddenly had permission issues and no Gui..
Then had to reinstall with the data folders in my documents instead of program files and a shortcut to those folders to remedy it..
But it seems to re-occur periodically..
The only plug ive not had that happen with is zebra2
However prolonged usage of an older copy of zebra2 i used to use would result in a huge black circle covering up the mod matrix until system restart...

Not had any issues w/ permission like that, but DIVA vst2 takes ages to load which may be because of this. Vst3 is fine. Both R2R & VR releases seem to work, but I don't use it often enough to notice any *ahem* analog drift. I guess Legend is a better synth anyway, and less of a resource hog. Prolly all that protection code! I just wish Urs was more interested in developing instruments, instead of stupid protections that bug his customers.

This post made me want to check in on my u-he plugs and they're still registered. Maybe what changed this time is I chose a "no install" pack. I deleted everything I ever had from u-he, and without using any symlink cmd, I just manually put the data and plugins where they go.

So I guess the plugins are still not cracked properly? If one fails then probably all will eventually fail. Just depends on usage I guess.

R2R left one bomb ON PURPOSE which does not happened to licensed users.
Legal demo user can reproduce this bomb if he knows how to.
This bomb will be only triggered when you modify the time/date func of Win32API.
If you are using our release "As it is", this bomb won't happen.
    Why did we leave it?
We want to hide what we found and what we did :)

Did an update or a install of Win32APL do it?
    Its working fine over here.

To those who said it's working fine: Do you actually use the stuff? I mean daily, not once in a month; actually doing stuff with it, twisting kobs. The bombs seem to be usage dependent, high plugin usage triggers them more. "Working fine" says nothing when you only load the plugins once per year.

Any people who use the cracked stuff regularly?
