a wave file is a wave file, but as far as I know, each different software attaches it's own capabilities to it's own brand of loop ready files that allow you to control parameters like key and tempo. For instance, I use Adobe Audition mostly, which you can get Loopology for. Audition recognizes it's own format PK type file from Loopology. You can still extract or copy the wave file to somewhere else, but it will be stuck in that key and that tempo, unless you stretch it. You can take a WAVE and put it in the key and tempo you want in it's own software and convert that to a unique copy, which can then be moved where ever you want, but it will be locked into that key and tempo. But there are better techies here than me and I may be wrong, but I don't think you can just change PK or AIF attachments
    to whatever you want.

What Xsze said -- I believe its an option (default) when you Install Logic Pro -- Check your User/Applications/Utilities folder

apple loops utility is a kind of recycle but instead of making rex2 files convert from wav to aiff and can edit the transients just like recycle and modify tempo and tonality just switch the button to loop at the first screen. to start
