Hey, for 5 bucks, i just bought it!! I will try it later in the night.

 

It's a tough market. The look kinda reminds me of Ignite Amps' Emissary, available for free, but not as cool.
Their whole line is free and worth checking out.

The auto wah is pretty cool.

 

I would recommend trying AirWindow's Guitar Conditioner before this and any ampsim.

oh, yes. It is great at taming the digital-ish sound of sims.

 

It's not this, but I bought an Head Crusher. 25$
It is very good, almost the same as Soundtoys 'Decaptitator' 99$
and the design looks better.

 

5 dollars? Is it worth it? May only be the intro price but is kinda worrying if you ask me.
Is it worth it? Well is always comparative as in what it's worth to you I guess. What else can you buy for $5?
Half a sandwich or a pair of socks maybe?
As written above is pretty sad in some ways to see software selling for this sort of price and again just goes to show how competitive the market has become.
At the same time is also a bit of a pointer towards how much the big companies like NI monopolise and put a strangle hold on the market. In effect it Shows how difficult it is for the developer and how there is almost no chance of breaking through into the market and making little or no impact long term.
There will have been so much effort that has gone into developing a product such as this and I guess it comes down to how well it competes with rival products in the same price bracket. Thinking about it there aren't any such productsin that price bracket.
The fact that this is selling for just 5 dollars is kind of rather worrying and indicative of just how competitive the market is. Personally I haven't got much faith but who knows. I guess the best way would be to download a trial and see how it stands up.
At five dollars I got a suspicion it gonna be absolute shite and I personally hate these amp sims as mostly they are complete crap. Hope I'm wrong though and it proves to be a great bargain.
