Love the tune mate, nice BPMs and build ups
Very well done. Feels a bit weird around 0:48 instruments could have needed some more anticipation, they appear out of nowhere and could be mixed better. I like the rest, I'd prefer something more techno/rave oriented with bit less stuff goin' on, but that's just me.
Oh well of course this is too short :P

The beginning is a bit abrupt for me (and the end too obviously! ^^) maybe a more gradual intro would be better?
I agree with @Backtired about the instruments at 0:48 , you can build some anticipation (with some reverse reverb for exemple) before they kick in, it'll sound great. ;)

 

Thanks for your input. All suggestions will make their way into the next version. I rush into composing and need to get feedback.

 

Liked the vibe of the song in general. I agree with Backtired, while the synth at 0:49 looks promising, it doesn't fully fit with everything in the mix (at least for me). Also, from 2:24 everything kinda sounds with no crispness, the sounds don't seem to talk to each other in a peaceful way. I would say you should try to re-mixed it. Finish it. Try to get the balance right and It will be a nice track!

 

It is interesting. The first version had a bit more stank on it (not just the loudness - though it was louder that's not why am saying that.) The second one gave up some mojo by getting a little more on-subject.

No theory or anything beyond that - just know how I feel between 1 and 2. Good work.

 

Number one was more outta control in a good way, more exciting to listen to. This one felt so restrained.

 

Gotta agree with the old geezer above moosh..........you were on it first time round, just an idea but thon bit after 1 min in or so got me thinking of the Magic Roundabout..........now that might be cool to make more of that, even lift the basic tune? and even slip in the odd sample of vocal from a few of the characters?

 

Heh. 1st one was a bit more frenzy mash up that kinda reminded me of:

for some reason! It seemed really disparate & unconnected the 1st time I listened to it, but it was ok on 2nd listen; except abrupt ending. The only bit that didn't work was the horrible whistle riser borkedness. Sounds were nice overall, except maybe arp ~ 30s, which sounded a bit like a fone alarm call when moar isolated. Liked the drum sounds, good job!

The second one was a bit more considered, but not as interesting?
