Yes Phalanx is pretty cool and you are very fast in working with samples. It's really nice to manipulate singe drum sounds because of its layering system.

Egoist's randomiser, does it give good results? Is it essntially creating entirely new drum patterns for you?

Which plugin do you use for manipulating and layering single drum sounds (not loops), that you can use them for creating new sample libraries? Just asking me, because you can't take any samples without modifying and use them for your own library if you wanna sell it.

Thats whats this whole thread is about :dunno:. Though I did mention 'loops'. I'm looking for software which can manipulate samples in general, whether it be layering samples/drum samples or manipulate loops to my liking.

The whole intention of my post is to create my own 'stamp' on samples and getting them to sound like how I want them to be.

Geist is good for manipulating samples as mentioned I in the OP, but it's buggy as hell. There is also battery but I never used it.

Oh yes, you die mention loops so I thought the thread is about loops only. I thought the plugins which are listed here should help to modify, to rearrange slices of a loop primarily. For layering I recommend Phalanx. What I wanted to know with my last comment was, if there is a plugin which is better and faster than Phalanx. Sorry for missunderstanding!
