If you are running Soundtoys 5.0.1 or earlier and have not installed iLok License Manager version 3.1.6 or later, you must install a critical update to continue using your Soundtoys plug-ins. The quickest and easiest way to do this is to follow these steps:

1. Download the latest iLok License Manager installer by clicking the appropriate link below.

macOS 10.7 (Lion) or later
Windows 32-bit (Windows 7 or later)
Windows 64-bit (Windows 7 or later)

If you are using an operating system that came out prior to OS X 10.8 (Lion) or Windows 7, please click here to find and download your appropriate legacy installer, which has been updated to address this authorization issue.

2. Close all open applications.
3. Unzip and run the iLok License Manager installer (it will be labeled LicenseSupportInstaller)
4. Restart your computer.

That's it! You're good to go.

For reference, the current release version for Soundtoys products is 5.2.0, and Soundtoys users that are up-to-date are not affected. If you have already received an "Authorization Exception" error message while using your Soundtoys plug-ins, the steps above still apply. For more information, please read this FAQ item.
