  14. Yea, I like it too. Funny though, on the last song the vocal sounds as if Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees was singing it, to me anyway. Here is what I'm talking about...check out the first verse at least and you might hear what I mean.

Not trying to be narcissistic, but I'm enjoying my own musical works at the present time...

  17. There was a six month period about 25 years ago that I read nothing, no books, magazines or newspapers, didn't look at a screen either on television or on a computer and didn't listen to the radio or play any music that wasn't mine. I wrote some pretty cool songs in that short time in my creative life.

That's literally me right now, brother.:rofl::rofl:
Except it's been more than 6 months for me. I been living that life since 2014. Yeah I listen to music that's not my own, but it's usually old music that I've held close to my heart for years. And I have wifi & computer.
I shut off my cable because I got tired of the propaganda, promotion, brainwashing where they tell you to "eat this, buy that, believe this, hate on that, listen to this trash, follow these loser ass celebrities, wear this, subscribe to that, drink this beer, drive that car, watch this stupid show, take that poisonous medication. Fall in love with people who have billion dollar bodies, Jupiter sized egos and thrift store personalities, etc" and when they weren't talking about that, it was Trump said this, Trump tweeted that, etc. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed since then. In fact, I still visit people who have their TVs on 24/7, and it appears to have gotten worse since 2014-15. I stopped listening to the radio since 2010 because that's when music was truly going to shit. It's the new decade... Arianna Grande, Nicki Minaj, etc. I didn't have that Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus shit when I was growing up - I had Avril Lavigne. And I still do... on my iPod Classic from 2009 that I have since upgraded to 1TB. Yes, I'm a dude. No, I'm not afraid to admit I like Avril's music. Not because she's hot. I actually like bumping to & blasting "Complicated" on my stereo. Yes, you can laugh now
Every time I get in the car with someone and they start playing the radio the stuff I hear makes me wanna whip out a violin and play over it... sad depressing pop music. Yeah I can hit it big too. I just need to write a song with this chord progression - B F# G#m E and write lyrics about what it's like to be white and in love. :lmao:

I could roast the mainstream some more but I'ma just chill for now... just for now. I'll be back later. Anyone wants more jokes of me roasting this weird pop culture we live in feel free to shoot my a private message and I'll make sure you spend the weekend laughing hysterically. I got some good ones. Just ask me what I think about 2010's pop culture. :hahaha:
