    Hi,
I have just installed the Waves latest release (Waves Complete v2017.07.10 ). I've successfully installed and generated the license code and pasted it in the license folder. But REAPER is not showing the plugins in the list. I've tried rescanning every possible VST and waves folder. REAPER scans this file WaveShell-VST3 9.7_x64 and the system hangs up for a while showing error "Not responding" and then it starts searching other vsts in the same folder. No plugins in the fx folder!!!

    Help me!

    Hi,

Go to the reaper installation folder, in my case C:\Program Files\REAPER (portable version), and edit with notepad or other text editor (erase the content) or delete the files:
    1. reaper-vstshells64.ini (delete the file)
    2. reaper-vstplugins64.ini (If you delete the file reaper will scan all the plugins at start, you can erase only the waves ones, ex: WaveShell_VST3_9.91_x64.vst3<1303613859=00C8497EBFF9D201,1303613859,CLA-76 Mono (Waves).

After this reaper will rescan the waveshell's and you should see all the plugins.

Thank you for replying. reaper-vstshells64.ini was found in App Data/Raoming... location. I deleted the file and reopened REAPER. It scanned for all the available plugins and I could also see Wavesshells coming in the scanning window but still, can't access any plugins in the fx chain. :dunno:

I did a complete reinstall after removing all the waves stuff, also from the registry and it worked fine. Thank you so much, man! :like::mates:
