When I try to open up kontakt in komplete kontrol it crashes logic every time. If I open kontakt in komplete kontrol standalone it works just fine. Is anyone else having this problem or something similar? Can't figure it out. Batch re saved a lot of libraries so I can't resort to going back to an older version ok kontakt. I can't open any projects that i had with kontakt in komplete kontrol. Very frustrating, any help is appreciated.

 

Kontakt 5.6 has many bugs and missing features. Better go back to some old version.
This time NI failed.

 

same problem some time ago. Solved by using codesign command on the kontakt vst.

Do this command in terminal
sudo codesign -f -s -
Hit space, and drag the component or vst into terminal window
Hit enter
Enter your PW
And it will replace existing sig
BUT if you haven't installed X-Code Tools, you might get prompted to do so

Still not work.Only yesterday it was working. And today Logic X Crashed while using Kontakt5 plugin in Komplete Control. Anyway it works fine with Cubase or standalone Komplete Control and even in logic, but without Komplete Control. And there things such arpeggiator or scale control at Komplete Kontrol S88 not work in Kontakt without Komplete Control.

I try use codedesign command at kontakt5, komplete control... I am frustrated((((

I installed Command_Line_Tools_macOS_10.12_for_Xcode_8.3, and entered the command. But my kontakt crashes logic when loaded with komplete kontrol. kontakt without Komplete in Logic ,and the stand alone version works perfectly

Guys, I have the same issue. I using Logic X latest version 10.3.2 and Kontakt 5.6.8.
Can you detail the steps with the code in terminal? Logic crashes when I open Kontakt and play anything

 

Haven't had that problem here and didn't do anything special 10.3.2 or 5.6.8. I did run that sudo command on logic vst for use in Komplete though.

 

I got the same problem in 10.3.2. I've tried downgrading kontakt to 5.6.5 and 5.6.6 as well. The same goes with Komplete Kontrol 1.8.3 and 1.8.1. All times Komplete Kontrol crashes within Logic Pro 10.3.2 and says kontakt error. When I open the Komplete Kontrol.app Standalone I can open kontakt without any problems. Something in the logic AU verfication protocol, seems to be dealing some problems. I think I'll have to downgrade to Logic 10.3.1 for now, and go back to some 10.3.2 Logic Projects later. It's really a shame...

 

Anyone who have discovered a solution?

Are you running Logic 10.3.2? I'm running into the same issue now. Both Kontakt and Komplete are cracked and the issue only happens if Kontakt is.

If I install Logic, and both Kontakt and Komplete are in demo, no problem. If run Komplete/Kontakt cracked, instant crash.

Ok, I think I may have answered my own question.

This appears to work. First installed Kontakt 5.6.5, run command, Update to 5.6.8, run command, open kontakt/komplete to check that it still can load. Logic now opens the Komplete Libraries.
