Actually, you can select "Leave Remainder" when bouncing or exporting to preserve the tail. Clicking the FX button in you mixer channel barely takes a millisecond it's not even worth complaining about. Aside from dragging and drop down menu's how else do you propose the user would select something? FL doesn't have many drops down menu's and you can do the majority of things by dragging and dropping too. The sequencer is a godsend and makes managing patterns super simple instead of having to drop a thousand audio clips into a channel and making sure every single one is properly quantized, for me at least it saves tons of time compared to Ableton. FL has a very powerful sampler with all the options you could want you can adjust what sort of fade your audio clip uses. To me it just seems like your complaining about and shitting on a DAW you haven't properly used or familiarised yourself with, hate does often stem from ignorance.

 

I really don't think there is a single DAW out there that focuses on so many superficial updates than FL Studio.it's getting quite silly now,or they are so balls deep in the code,there is no way to rectify some of the dipshit decisions they made in the initial development stages (when Lord Gol and his dogma oversaw all)i mean it still doesn't have audio clip automation that works at audiorate..why on earth would anybody want to do volume automation at a control rate :Swho honestly thinks that is a good idea.the 2 dials that were mentioned earlier in the sampler channels are a joke too.they have next to zero useful resolution.Edison is not an elegant solution either

Let's not get started on how many hoops you need to jump through to keep PDC functional and again,the specific ways it forces you to work to keep it so.i don't think that is ever getting fixed.i think Image Line have seen my last euro.the joke has stagnated,and only serial clappers are lingering around in this ghost of a comedy club

 

Damn I wish they do "Poizone 3" for FL13. Add more waveshapes, LFO's, envelope generators and a mod matrix but keep it accessible and I'm happy. Just finished a project and I can't believe they don't have a proper modern subtractive synth.

Yeah, but with native FL plugins automation and assigning controllers is easier and you can use the godlike "sllde" thing in piano roll.

There aren't a lot of changes compared to beta 3, mainly bugfixes.

Changes in RC2

• Diagnostics is now resizable
• Touch keyboard now has its own entries in the "Receive notes from" list for channels
• DirectWave: the default path for FLM export is now the "My instruments" folder in the FLM plugin folder

Guys, I don't mean to interrupt your conversation but, I have just found, by myself, a way of getting the windows version of FL Studio 12.5, for mac, for free and register it, like unlock it with a .reg file, it's a pretty complex process, so if anybody wants to know how, just reply to this.

Okay so this is how you install the windows version and crack FL Studio 12.X on OSX:

Things you will need for this:

-WineBottler: http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/

-FL Studio Installer EXE File: https://www.image-line.com/downloads/flstudiodownload.html

Step 1 - Open the FL Studio installer that you have just downloaded, the program “Wine” should open it for you, select the first option and click Next or OK, go through the process of the installation, don’t change any directories of where it is going to be installed.



Step 2 - Once the program is successfully installed, you now have the windows version of FL Studio on your Mac but it is not registered, in order to register it, right click "removed the link" this link, save link as, name it FLRegkey.reg and select All Files save it to your desktop.



Step 3 - Go to /Users/(your user)/Wine\ Files/drive_c/windows and open regedit.exe, wine will open, press next, in the top left corner, press registry, import registry file, type of file select all files, go to where you saved your FLRegKey.reg and press open, regedit will run the file, and will and unlock FL studio for you.



There you go, you now have fl studio for Mac, registered.

This release do not expire, only alphas and betas do.. If you have a valid regkey you can register it and use it just fine...

Well, if it's worth installing I don't know, this is a release candidate, not the final stable release, it contains bugs and most of this bugs are being fixed, probably we'll see (or not) another release candidate after this... If you can't wait to try the new features, go ahead and install but keep in mind that new/better/fixed releases are coming at any time and you'll have to install again, again and again..

Me? I'm waiting for the stable release... ;)

i recommend that you DON'T install this if you have an older version already.
as usual this actually overwrites preferences etc. on existing copy even if you install to a different directory.
that's not new, it's one of those annoying things FL has for a long time now. so, wait for the full release version... imo
