Goodmorning all,

I have a question again... Did anyone manage to install this Bob Moog Tribute update for Omnisphere?
Every time I run the installer it says something about files are missing. I tried re-downloading and some other stuff, but it didn't work out. I'm out of options right now.

I also checked the comments on AudioZ, and noticed some others where having the same difficulties.


Please someone help me out here...

 

that's because of long file names...what you do..?

make a copy of the original and put it just on your c: drive or desktop.
then change the folder of the original to i or just 1 syllable or number eg.5
then run the installer it will work properly i had same confusion.

shorter path is better...in this case.

i copied the original folder downloaded from audioz, put it on my desktop, renamed the folder to '5', opened up the folder, went to the mac folder as i'm on a mac and ran the installer... unfortunately the same error as before.. any more suggestions?!

About the "Bob moog tribute update 1.1.0" :

As you have noticed it, this is an 'UPDATE', so have you first installed the 'Bob Moog Tribute Library', I mean the FULL version ?

As you can easily guess it, if you don't have the 'Official' First and FULL version installed within your HD (~ 2.3 GB for the download and nearly 10 GB when installed within your HD !!!... if I well remember), the update that you try to install will not find it, hence the : "...the installer says something about files are missing..."

i have bob moog patches in my omnisphere, but still i can't install it, this is like one of the first which doesn't work out... dannnggg

 

I decided to install this. Use Pacifist and a full Bob Moog Tribute Library installer. I used Omnisphere 1.5.8 with the Moog Library. I also used the updater that comes with Omnisphere 2. Should show what you have installed in the STEAM folder after that.

This thing is likely so big that I won't really use it to its potential. I'm trying to learn one thing at a time. And, this thing looks like a beast!

I'm having an issue with the library, though. Some of the patches keep telling me that several files must be missing or corrupted. If anyone has help in that area, I'd appreciate it.
