    **Some I use on a regular base:**

    Most of them are friendly, just a couple like to throw a popup window atcha. Just be careful always, make sure an strong antivirus/malware program is active on the background. To intercept bad warez- especially when you are planning on downloading software (.exe, .rar, .zip) or ebooks!! (.pdf is a very attractive extension to load up with something you don't want to have).


    And don't forget Google! With the right search strings you can unleash some very interesting power right there. Paste the search string below in the google search box, hit enter en be amazed. The example is a random one that checks on keywords like 2016 and BRRip. You can change that in whatever you want: 'the little mermaid disney 1998' -just play a bit aroud :)

    When download slows down/won't complete, try adding a bunch of the trackers into the trackerlist of such torrent. Clients like Deluge have easy tools build in to do so (or you can extend it even more by firing up some special pluginz.

    Because people are getting sued the fuck over for torrenting nowadays?! All the networks are monitored by big law firms representing major studios.

    Yes, could be. I know in Germany for example you get punished for it really hard. I know people that got a penalty of around €900 for downloading a movie there. That's big. It's very strict there.

    Use a VPN, problem solved! Just make sure to use one that actually cares about privacy. If rightsholders come asking for information they won't even have any information to give them so there's no one they can sue. Their trace ends at the server host your VPN uses and beyond that they have no way of identifying you.

    shh, don't tell anyone but I've been using my phone to d/l .torrent files then reconnect to my home broadband to get the actual torrent. This gets around the virgin blocking nicely...
