AUTHENTIC SOUND

We put a lot of thought and work into emulating all the sonic aspects associated with analog tape: Class A recording and playback amplifiers, tape response and saturation, NAB pre- and de-emphasis EQs, the sonic effect of different tape speeds and bias levels, hiss and hum - it's all there. We also added an adjustable wow and flutter feature that emulates frequency modulation (FM) due to motor speed fluctuations.

SSE2 OPTIMIZED CODE

DSP operations are pipelined using the SSE2 instruction set. This ensures highest possible performance operation despite very complex computations.

AUTO-ADJUSTED OVERSAMPLING FOR MAXIMUM AUDIO TRANSPARENCY

Aliasing artifacts are efficiently attenuated using a low latency linear phase Dolph-Chebyshev poly-phase design. The oversampling is auto-adjusted to your session‘s sample rate to save valuable CPU power while offering the most transparent sound possible.

HIGHDPI / RETINA SUPPORT

These are getting out of hand now... I Want to see and hear real world examples of real calibrated machines, same tape formula, ips and content being pumped through the vst and machine. I'm getting sick of seeing a new tape plugin every f@&king 3 days pop up. Very few people using these plugins these days have even stepped foot in a room with a Studer A800, J37, Ampex 440B, MCI, Otari etc etc... it's time these plugin manufacturers are held accountable by an independent party to really show the bullshit... I swear 90% of these plugins are just harmonic distortion plugins built around compressors and a simple eq. I'm sorry if this offends any of you. But I can't sit idly by anymore. Put your money where your mouth is and prove it.

 

Nothing's funnier than people being angry about plugins that emulate analog hardware. It's like seeing an old man yelling at kids to get off the public lawn.

I think that it's good that every company tries their hand at it, because it means that you don't have to put up with the, uhm, quirks of different manufacturers and their policies. The more the better! and if a developer reads this, we want a 3348 emu!
