Thank you for dealing with such a difficult situation with much needed humor and grace. Also, those painkillers must be oh so good! ;) Seriously though, thanks for trusting us with being your entertainment. Get well soon.

Aha, there are worse places to be than a swiss hospital brother.
(my own cradle of chronic pain is the "walton neurological centre"... have fun googling that).
and, of course, the best thing about pain is...
    when it stops...
So I wish you all the best on both those houses.

Yeah, the wife has several Hohner's and some others in different keys. I need to find her some in flat (or sharp) keys like Eb, Db, etc. As we are tuned half step down in some material.
Maybe Seydel has them in flat keys as well... :dunno:

If it is any consolation to know you aren't alone in having stuff, My Mother has sciatica amongst a few other "gems" which make day in and day out everything pretty damned painful, I won't go into detail, I also have quite a lot that is buggered/can not be fixed via an operation (majority of the fluid in between the discs of my spine is not very much fluid, got many a knackered disc along with nerves that are shot out, So my back can be in agony but due to the nerve's firing incorrectly if they even bother to do I'll be getting my body inform me that it is say my stomach and shoulder instead of where the source of the pain is at). Until they can do some type of terminator type job with replacing parts I'm having to get on and deal with it (and I can not see such stuff becoming a reality in my lifetime, I'm 33 but all the good medical treatment is reserved for illuminati level elite's whom are CFR, Bill Burr Group, Club of Rome, Trilateral Commission and other such round table group's I mean when I say illuminati level elite's, Something I couldn't be any further away from if I tried haha). Still I an looking forwards to the day when I am able to state "I am cybernetic organism living tissue over metal endoskeleton" in part at least, Until then the fentanyl transdermal patches keep me functional with some quality of life, Having/being a fulltime single parent of two demands that I be active

I wish you all the very best and on behalf of my family also, Much love to you and yours dude

  11. They seem to have Bb Db Eb Ab LowDb Low Eb...this is where I shop for lots of the gear I buy locally...This is their link to the Seydel 1847, both Noble and Silver. They are well stocked in harmonicas, to say the least.

Glad to see you back on the board after your previous departure. And very happy to read that you are feeling better.

  13. Thanks BuffetFan, my bod feels like it took a shot by Lawrence Taylor and my right leg is still numb, but when I finally got home smoked some primo green, took a red hot shower to wash off the day and am curled up on the sofa with a nice chai tea and my wife. I'm gonna nod real soon. Good night to all and thanks for helping me get through the day! Peace and love to all!

Sorry to read about your situation, SLS, but pleased to know you've had some satisfaction.
I popped a nerve in my low spine four or five years ago and had a couple of shockingly painful sciatica events because of it.
I have 'altered sensation' in my right leg (totally numb back thigh, behind the knee, and little toe and it's closest neighbour) ever since because of the nerve damage. Docs won't operate because it isn't serious enough, so I've had to learn to live with it.
At least with these sub zero NZ mornings I only have to worry about one foot freezing up in the frost.

Good to see you back posting. Respect.
