I used to live in Bristol and often used to chat with all the members of Massive Attack and Portishead at the local record shops and skated with Die from Roni Size & Reprazent at the Dame Emily skate park in Bedminster, Bristol.

Also knew Jody Wisternoff and DJ'd with him a few times. He invited me back to his place once but I turned him down cos I was too stoned :D

This was back in the late eighties early nineties.

 

Yeah, I knew he'd released solo stuff. He also produced one of favourite mid-90s rock albums too in Sunna's One Minute Science! To go off piste a bit, this was my favourite track on it:

I saw Portishead in Glastonbury in the mid 90s. Awesome live band.
