    HI all :)

I am trying to experiment with some filter sweeps and I would like to generate harmonics from the resonance frequency of the sweep only. That means that I want to split the signal dynamically according to the sweep and harmonize the resonant part of the signal.
Is there a plugin that can do all that or if I need chain (that I probably will) - what is your idea about how to split the resonance from the sweep?

Jesus christ why would you need to do that? Anyway, you can have a lowpass filter without a resonance and a sharp peak filter in parallel in sync with it and you can saturate only that.

    Wut?
    A bandpass filter cutoff sweep?
I'm not following. Be more specific.

I'm not sure but seems like you need peak filter with keytracking turned on. You can achieve this with avenger, synthmaster, serum and every other synth that comes with peak filter. Shaper in avenger works pretty much the same way. What so special with it? You want to reinvent acid sounds? :)

He literally want to harmonize the sweep.

I am after a specific resonating ring (that exists in my head only) and I am using Moog MF101 (as a part of modular setup) modulated by slow LFO CV for the sweep.. as i said i am in a experimenting phase
The idea of using keytracked peak filter might work... question is how to sync it with the LFO that modulates the cutoff.

    that :)

Do you just want a fully key-tracked notch filter to remove the fundamental frequency, but keep the upper harmonics?

Most synths have two filters in serial or parallel. You can key-track both of these 100% and dial in both cutoff filters.

Edit: Or do you want to add a key-tracked comb filter (basically a very short delay)?

OK, got it... managed to do it...
Thank you for your ideas :)

Edit: I used keytracked Volcano2 and Eventide Octavox - it did the trick...
Next will try with comb filter. :)
